During 30 years of business, we have reached quite a few milestones. This wouldn’t have been possible without the trust and support of our customers, partners and employees.
„We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.” This mantra has helped us become a successful international manufacturer of medical products, pharmaceuticals and supplements during the last 30 years of the company´s history.
Founded in Hamburg in 1993 it all began with grinding and micronizing raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry.
1993After moving to Parchim in 1995 BMP started to produce medical products and became a leading manufacturer for dental cleansing products.
1995The expansion to supplement production from 2000 strengthened the continuing growth of the company. Through certification of facilities and products such as DIN ISO, EN ISO und GPM, BMP set sails for its processes.
2000Business volume grew in all fields at BMP and thus a second production building was built and opened. Resources were extended, more machines started running (e.g. sticks and hard capsules).
20062019 Helago, BMP’s biggest customer for effervescent tablets in dental cleansing was joined to BMP.
2019Today 2023, a third production site starts running for BMP Oral Care, the newly found manufacturing daughter for the dental business.
2023BMP was founded in 1993.
Bernd-Michael Jörß, the founder of BMP is still active in business matters.
BMP products are sold in 27 countries worldwide.
BMP has invested 7 million euros in the production facility in Parchim.
More than 80 people work at BMP, doing industrial jobs, scientific work, management jobs and many more.
BMP cooperates with start-ups, medium-sized companies and groups of companies.
All 3 BMP buildings are heated by our own power station that also provides electricity for internal use.
As sustainability is a big motivation – BMP has installed a photovoltaic system and adapted to LED lighting.
In all 3 BMP buildings the cafeterias have been or will be renovated.
On average BMP employees work with us for 8 years, some colleagues are with bmp for 23 years already.
2021 BMP was rewarded for being a „family friendly company“.
On hot summer days it may happen that management spends free ice cream on all teams.
Customers can benefit from BMP's full line service from – development to the final with the end consumer.
BMP Oral Care alone produces over 200 million denture cleansing tablets per year.

Since 2019 the sales company Helago for oral care products belongs to BMP.
BMP welcomes new staff in the growing teams. Lateral entry is very common and no problem.
BMP lives long and solid partnerships with suppliers and partners.
Regional responsibility is a must for BMP. We support local NPOs such as the project „Wünschewagen MV“.
The newly opened manufacturing building is more than 2.500 square meters big.
BMP is presenting products and services on international trade shows.

One highlight for all BMP teams during the year is the „BMP health day“ that we use for health care issues and celebrating team spirit.
